Old Daoist Worshipping the Moon was a small mountain peak shaped like an old Daoist with his hair tied in a topknot.
The old Daoist faced the heavens, standing solemnly still as he contemplated the Dao and sought truth.
During the day, visitors could only make out the shape of this formation.
But at night, whenever the bright moon hung in the sky, the scene of the old Daoist reverently bowing to the distant moon truly came to life.
Quite a few tourists pitched tents in the mountain's camping area specifically to see this wondrous sight.
