Glancing at Spandam, who was still kneeling on the ground, Liu Feng told him to get lost so he would not be such an eyesore.
Spandam looked stunned. What about his reward? He had completed the task and found the Rumble-Rumble Fruit. Was there not even the slightest reward?
"Lord Liu Feng, have you forgotten something?" Spandam asked Liu Feng with a fawning smile.
"You mean a reward?" Liu Feng asked Spandam with an amused smile.
Spandam hurriedly nodded. He had gone all out searching for the Rumble-Rumble Fruit these past few days. The only reason he had found it was because he had conducted a carpet search across Sky Island.
If there was no reward at all, Spandam felt he had suffered a huge loss.
"Spandam, if I do not give you something, you cannot ask for it. Do you understand?"
Liu Feng asked Spandam calmly.
In an instant, cold sweat poured down Spandam's back. His body had just begun to rise, but his knees went weak again, and he continued kneeling.
"Do you think finding the Rumble-Rumble Fruit for me counts as some great merit?"
Finding the Rumble-Rumble Fruit had only been possible because Liu Feng had provided the location and narrowed down its exact range. If Liu Feng had the time to search himself, he could have found it too, perhaps even more efficiently than Spandam.
Even if it had not been Spandam, anyone else Liu Feng sent could have found the Rumble-Rumble Fruit just as well.
As long as Enel had not eaten it, the Rumble-Rumble Fruit was something Liu Feng was bound to obtain. Spandam was far too naive if he thought he could use this to earn a reward.
Besides, Liu Feng did not like Spandam in the first place.
