"Set off immediately and make a trip to Konoha."
Gekkō Raito turned around, a frantic arc curving the corner of his mouth.
"Help me bring a message to Tsunade: I want to meet her! Just the two of us!"
A meeting between the twin shadows?!
Kyuji drew a sharp breath.
This was not as simple as two village chiefs drinking tea and chatting.
At a juncture like this, the shadows of two great nations meeting in private would cause the entire Shinobi World to blow its lid once the news spread out.
This was treading dangerously on the edge of starting a war.
By then, the other major nations would surely swarm in like sharks smelling blood.
"Sir, where is the meeting location set?" Kyuji asked carefully.
Gekkō Raito thought for a moment, his gaze playful.
"Right in the open waters... outside Kirigakure."
Kyuji frowned.
Make the Hokage come to Kirigakure? Tsunade would have to be kicked in the head by a donkey to agree to that; wasn't this tantamount to a sheep walking into a tiger's den?
Similarly, having Gekkō Raito go to Konoha was unrealistic, as that was no different from walking to his death.
"The... the ocean?"
Kyuji froze.
Could the two Kage-level bigwigs be about to stand on water and chat in the middle of the vast sea? The mental image was too pretty; he dared not imagine it.
That was far too childish!
Gekkō Raito seemed to see right through his thoughts and smiled mysteriously.
"Right, I find a few deserted islands nearby looking rather displeasing to the eye anyway; their layout is far too messy."
"Taking advantage of this opportunity, I'll just casually... reorder them."
Reorder them?
Kyuji listened in a fog, completely unable to keep up with Gekkō Raito's thought processes.
Gekkō Raito
