Smack!
Mirajane gently lifted the stamp from the back of Lucy's fair hand. An exquisite pink emblem had been perfectly imprinted there.
"There! Now you're a Wizard of Fairy Tail!"
Lucy cradled her right hand in delight. She excitedly rushed over to Natsu, who was stuffing his face, and waved the back of her hand at him to show it off.
"Natsu, look!! The Fairy Tail emblem!"
With his mouth full of meat, Natsu replied indistinctly:
"Oh, that's great, Louise!"
"It's Lucy, you idiot!!"
Lucy angrily stomped on Natsu's foot, then turned around and sat back down beside Mirajane.
"He's so infuriating!"
After venting, Lucy quickly recovered her good mood and asked curiously:
"By the way, Miss Mira, who's this Blanc the Guild Master mentioned earlier? Is he a member of the guild too?"
"Why did everyone look so surprised when they mentioned him?"
As Mirajane wiped a glass, her gaze drifted into the distance, and a gentle, nostalgic smile appeared on her face.
"Blanc hasn't been back for over a year, so it's only natural that everyone misses him a little."
"Over a year?"
At the thought, Mirajane puffed out her cheeks in a rare display of displeasure and gave a little huff.
"Yes. He suddenly ran off to take on an incredibly difficult job. I have no idea why the Guild Master agreed to let him!"
"Everyone believes in his abilities, but we still can't help worrying."
Lucy rubbed her chin, growing increasingly curious about this mysterious Blanc.
"What kind of job takes that long?"
Suddenly, the sound of a heated argument from the counter drew their attention.
In front of the counter, little Romeo was shouting desperately at the Guild Master.
