The six had barely taken their places when Aimei Te said, "Dean, there have always been five exchange students from China. Why are there six this time? Isn't that inappropriate?"

"It's a long story. This is a special case."

Frank wanted to brush it off. After all, he had only arranged for the extra person because he had been paid, and it was hard to explain.

"A special case? Let's hear it. What makes it so special?"

Aimei Te was clearly refusing to let it go.

Dean Frank was also somewhat puzzled. He knew Aimei Te had seen Liu Mei and was deliberately picking a fight.

"This is Liu Mei. You met her last night. She wanted a friend to accompany her in class, so we added an extra slot."
