Mako was serious and highly sensitive to this sort of thing, so she gave them a warning.
Zheng Long nodded and said, "All members, listen up. Let's go find them."

Everyone nodded, then followed Zheng Long over.
About two minutes later, they arrived at where Lin Chen's team had been. Logically speaking, with over thirty people, they could not have moved that quickly. The mountain exit was nearly 150 meters away, and aside from two types of small rocky hills, there was nothing around to provide cover.
If those people had gone down the mountain, Zheng Long's people could not possibly have missed them.
Filled with doubts, they arrived at their destination.
Mako immediately spotted traces and said, "Look at all these footprints. They're fresh, so they should have been left by them. And all these footprints point in one direction."
Zheng Long immediately understood. The place Mako meant was the small hill ahead.
It was a small hill on the crater, twice smaller than the place where they had hidden, covering only around thirty square meters.
There had been over thirty people when they came up. If they stood shoulder to shoulder, they would have just barely been able to conceal themselves.
"Let's go take a look!"
Zheng Long headed toward the small hill.
With Mako leading the way and following the footprints, they reached the back of the hill and discovered that ten meters behind it was a sloping cliff. Unlike the trail they had come up from, this place was covered entirely in thorns. There was no path at all. It was impossible to descend from here.
