Knock, knock!
Lin Chen arrived at Tang Hanlin's rental apartment and knocked on the door.
A voice immediately sounded from inside. "Who is it?"
Lin Chen deliberately did not respond and knocked again. He wanted to test this senior brother's true strength, since they had yet to officially cross hands.
When Tang Hanlin received no reply from Lin Chen, he frowned slightly, flashed over to the table, and clipped his pouch of steel needles to his waist.
He had already taken two needles into his hand.
"Who is it?"
Tang Hanlin asked again.
There was still no sound outside. Tang Hanlin slowly approached, reached out to grasp the doorknob, and suddenly pulled the door open, only to find the hallway completely empty.

At the same time, a figure flashed out and darted toward Lin Chen. But just as he got close, Tang Hanlin withdrew his fist.

Tang Hanlin shot Lin Chen a look. "Little Lin, what are you doing? That almost turned into an accident."

Lin Chen told him honestly.
