Background / History

Zhou Bin was the eldest young master of the Zhou Family in Donghai City and one of Lin Chen’s earliest enemies. He had pursued Qin Xueqing before Lin Chen entered her life, making Lin Chen both a romantic rival and a personal grudge. 343

He escalated their conflict by sending assassins, including Huang Xiaohu of the Hong Society, against Lin Chen and Qin Xueqing. Lin Chen defeated the attackers, captured Zhou Bin, and used him to pressure Zhou Tiannan into selling Meiyan Group. Zhou Bin proved unwilling to protect his own men when facing danger. 347 348

After the Zhou Family lost its position, Zhou Bin refused to abandon Donghai City without his father. Zhou Tiannan ultimately held a knife to his own throat to force his son to leave, telling him to build strength independently. Zhou Bin departed while his father was taken away by the Dragon Society. 372

He later sought overseas support through Li Kui of the Black Alliance and cooperated with Leopard’s killer group in Nanzhou. He arranged for Li Chunyi and Jue Wei to be kidnapped in an attempt to lure Lin Chen into a trap, but Lin Chen rescued them and had Zhou Bin abducted from the Huashang Grand Hotel. 479 482

Lin Chen’s side confined Zhou Bin in cold storage, where he was nearly frozen to death. Chen Yin—using the identity Hu Chongsheng—rescued him and transferred the God-tier Killer System to him. Zhou Bin begins as an entitled and cowardly young master who relies on his family’s influence and is prepared to sacrifice subordinates to save himself. Under Lin Chen’s pressure, he repeatedly panics, flees, or appeals to Zhou Tiannan for help. 347 348

After receiving the God-tier Killer System, he becomes more calculating, cautious, and determined. He adopts disguises, plans escape routes, hacks security systems, and uses other people’s desperation to complete missions. His growth does not remove his fear or instability. He initially suffers nightmares after killing, but progressively accepts murder as the cost of System rewards. When faced with losing the System, he kills his own father rather than allow its forced unbinding and reset. 511 740
