Jiang Chiyan pulled him into the room.

Xiao Cheng wrapped the little quilt tighter around himself and threw himself, quilt and all, against Jiang Chiyan's chest. His eyes were red and his lashes trembled as he said, "I don't want to sleep in a separate room from Yanyan!"
Jiang Chiyan couldn't help pushing him into a corner, cupping the back of his head and bending down to kiss him.
But Xiao Cheng suddenly covered his mouth with the pillow, shaking his head desperately to keep him away. Tears spilled down his face as he sobbed, "No!"
Jiang Chiyan narrowed his eyes, a hint of danger beneath his gentle tone. "A child who won't let me touch him isn't being good."
Xiao Cheng sniffled stubbornly and tipped his little head back, his expression saying, I'm taking advantage of your love for me. What are you going to do about it?
With his fiercest expression, he said the softest words. "I haven't brushed my teeth yet. I can't let Yanyan kiss me!"

Xiao Cheng threw the quilt and pillow over Jiang Chiyan's head and dashed into the bathroom in Jiang Chiyan's room.
Jiang Chiyan, utterly bewildered after being hit in the face with a pillow and quilt: ???
He tossed the quilt and pillow onto the sofa and strode into the bathroom on his long legs.
Inside the bathroom.
Xiao Cheng was brushing his teeth with the toothbrush and rinsing cup Jiang Chiyan had used just ten minutes earlier.
His lashes were soaking wet, and his phoenix eyes, still brimming with tears, watched his reflection curiously as white foam filled his mouth.
Xiao Cheng couldn't resist reaching out a finger and poking his own face in the mirror.
