"What are you thinking about?"
"Cologne."
Seeing Ji Hanxing staring blankly ahead, Yan Jinyue had asked, and Ji Hanxing had answered without thinking.
Only after the words left his mouth did Ji Hanxing come back to his senses.
Yan Jinyue was already used to Ji Hanxing's leaps of thought, so he simply asked, "What about cologne?"
Since Yan Jinyue had brought up the subject, Ji Hanxing felt like talking to him about fragrances. Wasn't there a domineering CEO right here?
"Do you usually wear cologne?"
Yan Jinyue shook his head. "I don't usually like wearing things like that."
As Ji Hanxing listened, he even sniffed instinctively. True enough, he really had never smelled any fragrance on Yan Jinyue.
"What do you think cologne smells like?"
Ji Hanxing continued asking. Although Yan Jinyue didn't wear it, Ji Hanxing felt certain he would know.
Yan Jinyue didn't disappoint him. After considering for a moment, he said, "Cologne isn't particularly strong because its concentration is low."
"Most feature notes like bergamot, citrus, and orange blossom. They're fairly light and diffuse very well, but they don't last quite as long."
Ji Hanxing seized on the key point. "They don't last long?"
The system wanted him marinated in the stuff. How was he supposed to get thoroughly marinated if the scent didn't last?
Yan Jinyue nodded. "Compared with other perfumes, cologne does tend not to last as long."
"But concentration and longevity vary between brands. As technology has advanced, some colognes have become fairly long-lasting, too."
Ji Hanxing was baffled. From what Yan Jinyue was saying, cologne wasn't a perfume brand, then?
The country bumpkin silently shut his mouth tight. When Ji Hanxing had read those romance novels before, he had genuinely thought cologne was a perfume brand. It turned out it was only a
