Mikoto stared at the pure white wedding dress she wore, looking somewhat ill at ease.
The fabric was delicate and light, easily snagged or torn. Afraid their playful tugging would damage it, she hurriedly pressed a hand against Uchiha Lei's chest and gently pushed him away.
"I'll go change out of the wedding dress first. Feel free to look around. Don't worry about me."
She turned sideways, preparing to step behind the screen in the guest room to change.

A faint rush of air passed her ear. Uchiha Lei leaned forward in an instant, bending down to scoop the slender beauty securely into his arms.
Before Mikoto could react, he activated the Body Flicker Technique, taking them straight from the living room to a room upstairs.

The sudden feeling of weightlessness drew a small cry from Mikoto. Her arms instinctively tightened, wrapping firmly around Uchiha Lei's neck.
Warm breath brushed his neck. The tips of her fair ears instantly flushed crimson, and her body tensed slightly.

"Just change here."
Mikoto lowered her eyes to the bright red bridal bed beneath her. Her cheeks grew hotter as her slender hands lightly pushed against his firm chest.
"Go outside first. I need to change."
"I'm your future husband. Can't I even watch you change?"
Uchiha Lei lowered his head slightly, his dark eyes fixed on her bashful face. His eyes brimmed with amusement, and his tone was thoroughly teasing.
"That's not it~"
Mikoto lowered her long lashes, her gaze darting away in utter embarrassment.
"Go outside first. Tonight, you can do as you please. I'm afraid I'll squirm out of embarrassment and accidentally damage the wedding dress."
