When Hiruzen Sarutobi saw Mito Uzumaki suddenly leave, he thought Lady Mito had been angered by his hesitation, so he cast aside his reservations and immediately stood up!
With a whoosh-
Mito Uzumaki used the Body Flicker Technique to return to the sofa, where she stood and handed Hiruzen Sarutobi the green Wood Release: Wood Golem Technique scroll in her right hand, instructing him sternly:
"Monkey, this is a Wood Release scroll. Have Yuhi Shinku deliver it to Lei!"
"A Wood Release scroll?"
Hiruzen Sarutobi exclaimed excitedly. Realizing his lapse in manners, he accepted the ninjutsu scroll from Lady Mito with both hands and held it at his side. He bowed at a ninety-degree angle, straightened, and apologized quietly:
"Lady Mito, I'm sorry for my rudeness. I'll have Yuhi Shinku deliver the Wood Release and Flying Thunder God scrolls to the front together!"
Mito Uzumaki's eyes widened slightly in surprise. She looked at Hiruzen Sarutobi in disbelief, thinking he had become afraid of Uchiha Lei, then reminded him with a light laugh:
"Monkey, for once you're being reasonable. Don't worry. Lei repays kindness. He won't act recklessly!"
Hiruzen Sarutobi caught her implied meaning, and the weight lifted from his heart. He nodded and replied with a smile:
"Lei is a Konoha ninja. His heart will be with Konoha!"
"Good, Monkey. I'm glad you've thought it through. Go make the arrangements!"
Mito Uzumaki gave Hiruzen Sarutobi a gratified look, then waved him off to attend to the matter!
Hiruzen Sarutobi bowed slightly and took his leave:
"Yes, Lady Mito. I'll make the arrangements right away!"
Seeing Hiruzen Sarutobi leave with a smile, Mito Uzumaki felt much more at ease. Thinking of how outstanding Lei was, she wanted to hold a grandson again soon, and had more and more to look forward
