Iwagakure Battlefield~
A fifty-meter-wide yellow swath cut through the dense forest of gigantic trees, ending in an equally gigantic clearing.
Furious, Kitsuchi controlled a hill-sized clay giant and swung its enormous clay fist!
Unfortunately, Uchiha Lei, who was likewise controlling a wooden giant, blocked it with his giant's enormous palm.
Then the enormous palm clenched into a fist, crushing the clay giant's right fist to pieces and scattering clay all over the ground.
Realizing that the wooden giant was no ordinary opponent, Kitsuchi sank his entire body down, then kicked back hard, putting a safe distance of twenty meters between himself and the wooden giant.
Kitsuchi rapidly formed hand seals and shouted under his breath:
"Earth Release: Rock Missile!"
Kitsuchi tossed out a handful of Explosive Tags. The surrounding earth and rock wrapped around them, forming five-meter boulders that flew toward the wooden giant like yellow missiles!
Uchiha Lei did not sit idle. He released Karura with his right hand, then formed hand seals so quickly that his hands left afterimages and shouted under his breath:
"Wood Release: Cutting Sprigs!"
The wooden giant raised both hands level, and five-meter wooden stakes shot out of its palms, hurtling toward the incoming rock missiles like arrows loosed from a bow.
Explosions boomed continuously across the clearing between them.
Seeing that they were evenly matched, Kitsuchi rapidly formed hand seals again and shouted under his breath:
"Earth Release: Opening Earth Rising Excavation!"
Kitsuchi crouched, and the clay giant's left hand slammed against the ground. He looked at Uchiha Lei across from him with a wicked grin.
Uchiha Lei remained calm and unruffled. He knew that an earthen attack would spring from the ground beneath the wooden giant to ambush him, so he formed hand seals in a blur and shouted under his breath:
