Four Symbols Seal

"Douyang, I did not kill Uchiha Itachi. That was an enormous conspiracy aimed at me."

Danzo shook his head as he explained.

An expression that said, Like hell I believe you, you rotten old bastard, appeared on Uchiha Douyang's face as he said coldly:

"Facts speak louder than words. I can't be bothered arguing with you.

"No matter what, I won't treat you. You aren't welcome here. Please leave immediately."

Danzo's voice faltered. "I thought you were a young man who held the Will of Fire in his heart. To think you were just like the other Uchiha, narrow-minded and incapable of achieving anything great."

Danzo gave Douyang a long look, snorted coldly, and swept out.

Douyang glanced at the chair Danzo had sat in and said coldly, "Yui, throw that chair away and replace it with a new one."

Douyang did not take offending Danzo to heart.

Danzo had already been dismissed from his post. He was a toothless tiger now. The moment he dared leave the village would be the moment he died.

That night.

Douyang lay on his bed with his eyes closed, feigning sleep as he considered his future development.

At present, aside from his progress in unlocking Ōtsutsuki Isshiki, the other obstacle limiting his strength was his chakra reserves.

The importance of chakra went without saying.

The Ōtsutsuki Clan had come to Earth to plant the God Tree with the aim of harvesting the planet's energy and producing a Chakra Fruit.

"The Fourth probably learned the Sealing Jutsu he used from Kushina Uzumaki. Was it the Four Symbols Seal or the Eight Trigrams Seal?

"I wonder if I can undo it."

Douyang frowned slightly, sinking into thought.

The Uzumaki Clan's Sealing Jutsu was as renowned as the Priestess Clan's.

Having gained a basic command of the Priestess Clan's Sealing Jutsu, Douyang was still unsure whether he could undo the seal left by the Fourth.

"But with my current achievements, I should be able to apply to learn the Four Symbols Seal, right?"

The next morning, Douyang went to the Hokage Building and asked Torifu Akimichi to let him exchange his merits for the Four Symbols Seal.

"The Four Symbols Seal?"

Torifu Akimichi exhaled softly and said slowly, "You completed an S-rank mission. Under the regulations, you're fully qualified to learn the Four Symbols Seal."

After completing an S-rank mission, one could indeed apply to learn ninjutsu.

However, that was still not enough to qualify someone to learn a forbidden jutsu on the level of the Four Symbols Seal.

Considering that Uchiha Douyang had saved him, Torifu Akimichi chose to turn a blind eye and tacitly approved.

Afterward, Uchiha Douyang followed Torifu Akimichi to the secret chamber beneath the Hokage Building.

Along the way, Uchiha Douyang silently sensed his surroundings.

There's one visible guard post and one concealed guard post at the basement entrance, with six people in total.

There are sealing formulas on the walls, four altogether. Sensory sealing formulas? Without someone leading the way, I would already have been exposed by now.

Security at the Hokage Building was lax on the outside but tight within.

For an ordinary person, sneaking into the secret chamber without a sound would be virtually impossible.

Yet in the original story, Naruto had easily stolen the Scroll of Seals. That had clearly been the result of the Fourth Hokage's tacit approval.

Douyang lowered his eyes as a little scheme began to form.

The forbidden jutsu recorded in the Scroll of Seals included Eight Gates Armor Escape, Flying Thunder God, Impure World Reincarnation, the Four Symbols Seal, and more.

They were far too tempting.

If possible, he wanted to learn the other forbidden jutsu as well.

Following the stairs all the way down under Torifu Akimichi's guidance, Douyang arrived at the entrance to the secret chamber on the lowest floor.

"Lord Hokage."

The ninja guarding the door called out respectfully.

Torifu Akimichi nodded.

Then Torifu Akimichi and the ninja guard formed hand seals simultaneously, each pressing a palm against the secret chamber's door.

Opening the door to the secret chamber requires a specific jutsu formula too?

And part of that formula is held by the Hokage, while the other part is held by the ninja guard.

Douyang murmured inwardly.

Just then, with a soft creak, Torifu Akimichi pushed the door open.

"Let's go in."

With that, Torifu Akimichi entered the secret chamber first.

Douyang followed closely behind Torifu Akimichi. The chamber was considerably larger than he had imagined, with rows of bookshelves standing inside. On the raised platform in the very center lay an enormous scroll: the Scroll of Seals.

First, Torifu Akimichi took a scroll introducing the Four Symbols Seal from a bookshelf and handed it to Douyang.

"The Four Symbols Seal is very difficult to master. Read through this introduction written by our predecessors before deciding whether to learn it."

Sealing Jutsu was advanced ninjutsu and very difficult to learn. The Four Symbols Seal was harder still.

For one thing, it required enormous chakra reserves.

For another, it required a ninja to exercise precise control over their chakra.

Many ninja had attempted to learn the Four Symbols Seal before, but every last one of them had failed.

Douyang took the scroll and gave it a cursory glance. "I've already decided. I'll learn the Four Symbols Seal."

Torifu Akimichi nodded, then took out a blank scroll, walked over to the Scroll of Seals, and began copying the Four Symbols Seal.

Half an hour later, Torifu Akimichi handed the copied Four Symbols Seal scroll to Uchiha Douyang and warned him, "Remember, the ninjutsu in the Scroll of Seals is of great importance. You must not teach it to anyone else."

Douyang nodded.

He naturally knew that rule.

"You have two months to train. Return the scroll after two months!"

"Understood!"
