A bullet flew out like a phantom, with virtually no gunshot, tracing a curve through the water and striking the Horn Paladin square in the left ankle. By the time he noticed it, it had already hit, burrowing into a gap in the surface of his armor.

The shot stopped the Paladin dead, forcing him to halt before the Third Line of Defense. He scanned his surroundings as though searching for something, then was engulfed in artillery fire.

In such chaos, with explosions constantly ringing out, finding whoever had fired that shot was simply too difficult.

From the other players' perspectives, all they saw was the Horn Paladin stop. Zhang Zhi immediately ordered all the robots and the two Level Eight Twisted Warships to seize the opportunity and fire without worrying about friendly fire, unleashing a torrent of shells.

Under the repeated bombardment, that area became a death zone. Almost everything within it, including several Long-Legged Sardines, was blasted to pieces, whether robots or naval mines.

But the Paladin was still there, and had barely even been hurt.

An axe wrapped in holy light lay across the Paladin's front, blocking the vast majority of the attacks. He had almost no injuries, except that his left leg had vanished from the ankle down, and had not even regenerated.

This was an uncanny power. The Horn Paladin could not even form a foot out of holy light, because he could no longer remember what that foot was supposed to look like.

"Keep attacking!"

Zhang Zhi shouted. The pocket areas of his suit opened, revealing miniature nuclear bombs the size of thumbs, which he launched straight at the Horn Paladin.

The latter resumed his advance as well, quickly tearing through the Third Line of Defense.

"He's injured. He's much slower now."
