Running a fever of forty degrees, requesting leave

As the title says.

My elder brother-in-law got married, so I went to the Wumeng Mountains for four days in all, planning to get back to writing when I returned.

But on the day I came back, my throat started itching while I was still in the car, and I thought, This is bad.

Then last night I had a fever of 37°C, and this afternoon it reached 39.8°C... I strongly suspect I caught it.

Even sitting there, my eye sockets ached, and my whole body was burning hot.

I couldn't do anything at all.

I'm requesting leave and pushing things back a few days.
