I put off launching this book for a whole year. I'm truly sorry to have kept everyone waiting or2
But I actually started planning this book last April and began writing the opening in June. It took eight months of writing before I found something of the right feel and finally released it.
I wanted to release it sooner too, but I pushed myself too hard over the past few years, and once I passed thirty, my brain stopped working so well. Every day, I wrote over ten thousand characters, then deleted or revised eight thousand. I went round and round like that, forcing myself through dozens of versions of the opening. I must have scrapped a million characters.
After making everyone wait so long, A Guan thought no one would be reading anymore. He honestly never expected so many friends would still come to support him.
Words can't express my gratitude, so I'll put up an extra chapter.
I've always posted as much as I could, but I can only write so much readable story in a day. In the four days since launch, I've written just four chapters and posted thirteen. At this rate, my stockpile won't last a week. Maintaining six or seven thousand characters of updates a day is already everything I've got or2!
