The atmosphere grew awkward for a moment.
Elliot thought for a moment, then asked, "Have you been looking properly?"
"Yes, I've been trying really hard to find them, but..."
Flora's face flushed red. Only after a while did she say quietly, "I'm sorry."
Elliot found that a little funny.
What was she apologizing for when she hadn't found any materials?
But he couldn't let Eleanor keep stealing materials all over the place, either. Sooner or later, she would clean out the Esoteric Cult.
Elliot activated [Spirit Vision] and looked around.
Sure enough, a Dream World would ordinarily produce a dozen or so supernatural materials, but there were only a few points of light on Flora's side. Eleanor had nearly stolen them all!!
"Come on, follow me." Elliot followed a white thread forward.
"Um, what are we going to do?"
"Catch a thief."
Flora: "???"
Elliot followed the thread all the way ahead, but just as he was about to reach the supernatural material, the white thread suddenly vanished.
"Hmm?"
His eyes narrowed slightly. Without hesitating, he turned and headed for the next one.
This time, he finally found a supernatural material in the ruins.
Elliot placed the material some distance away, then stood nearby with Flora and watched.
Suddenly, the material vanished into thin air.
Flora: "!!!"
"See? I wasn't lying. There's a thief here stealing all your materials. That's why you couldn't find any."
Flora's eyes immediately widened, and she puffed up with anger. "I-I worked so hard looking all night and couldn't find a single one! I thought I was just unlucky..."

A corner snapped clean off the piece of rubble she had been holding.
