Perhaps because she had absorbed too much supernatural material, Eleanor's body now gave off a faint white glow as well.

Elliot reckoned Eleanor could now be brought out. He directed Flora to hold Eleanor's hand and lie down on the bed with her. Miss Elegy closed her eyes uneasily.
The next moment, the dream shattered, and she opened her eyes on the bed.
Flora immediately looked at her hand, and her gaze dimmed a little.
It was empty.
Miss Eleanor did not seem to have been brought out of the dream.
Meanwhile, Elliot was somewhat surprised too.
He immediately checked the tabletop, but Eleanor's Card had not appeared there.
But...
Elliot looked up at the Difference Engine's results screen.
Every dream had a results screen, or rather, a record screen.
Previously, whenever Elliot killed a monster in a dream, a record such as [You killed the Lord of Dreams in the dream and obtained Dream Memories.] would appear here.
And now, he found a new record on it.
[You recovered Believer Eleanor Bennett's Spirit in the dream.]
His spirits lifted, and he looked at the section for rewards obtained in the dream. Sure enough, a new Card had appeared.

With a strange expression, Elliot picked up the Card, then looked at the other [Believer Eleanor Bennett's Corpse] on the tabletop. He tried equipping [Believer Eleanor Bennett's Corpse] with [Believer Eleanor Bennett's Spirit], but failed. A spirit apparently could not be equipped to someone else.
"It failed..."
He suddenly remembered that when he controlled [Believer Elsa Ramsey's Corpse], he had equipped his own Character Card with the corpse, rather than putting his Character Card into the corpse.
In other words...
