Sia's new ability would undoubtedly bring new changes to the Dream.
The reason was simple: Elliot had successfully tossed in the [Dream Memory] series Cards, along with the corpses of Lords of Dreams, as materials. Even he was curious about what could be forged from them.
Forging took time, however, and Sia told him it would be a few days before there were results.
Elliot did not rush her. He simply picked out a few [Dream Memory] Cards, built her a dedicated forging hall, and left.
He had a great deal to do.
First came something rather unexpected: the corpses of the Lords of Dreams were gone.
Both the Courtyard and the Dock were running short of corpses.
Elliot did not dare use up too many of the corpses at the Dock. At least, he had not dared touch the ones dumped around the outermost edges. The warehouse still looked piled high with corpses, but he had actually hollowed out the middle.
There had never been many corpses stockpiled here, so using them all up was only to be expected.
The Courtyard was a different story, though. There had been huge piles of corpses there, which should not have run out so quickly.
Elliot found this highly suspicious and even sent someone specifically to investigate.
The results soon came back. It was simple: Maeve ate too much.
Single-handedly, she had turned the corpse piles into pools of wine and forests of meat. Every day, she did nothing else but burrow inside and gorge herself.
Elliot felt that the [Gluttony] talent should have been rolled for her instead.
Still, Maeve could hardly be blamed. She alone had to supply ingredients for the entire Communion, as well as snacks for Victoria.
