"Your Highness! Something's happening!"
Someone suddenly shouted.
He stood by a porthole, pointing outside in agitation. "Those Blood Vampires! My God, those Blood Vampires have gone mad!"
Sidney's heart lurched.
He did not know exactly what the danger above was. He could only sense that, despite how long they had been diving, it had not weakened but was drawing ever closer.
Sidney could not imagine what kind of terrifying threat could trigger a Spiritual Warning in everyone throughout the fleet.
Under these circumstances, getting entangled with the Blood Vampires would undoubtedly be extremely dangerous!
He hurried to the porthole, and the people around him automatically parted to let him through.
Sidney looked intently outside, then sucked in a breath!
The Blood Vampires were fighting, but their enemies were neither the fleet nor the Dream Creatures, but... themselves.
They tore into one another in a frenzy, constantly ripping flesh from their own kind and swallowing it whole, while the other Blood Vampires around them tore them apart in turn.
"These lunatics..."
Sidney could hardly believe his eyes. These Blood Vampires clearly possessed a degree of intelligence; they were not beasts governed entirely by instinct. How could they do something like this?!
Speaking of intelligence, he glanced around out of the corner of his eye.
Earlier, those Dream Creatures had fought alongside the Expedition Army, mingled among their ranks.
But after Elliot collapsed, they had broken away from the Expedition Army's fleet.
These Dream Creatures had neither moved far away nor come closer. They were diving along with them a short distance away.
Sidney's expression grew complicated for a moment. Elliot had been right: these monsters really did possess intelligence. They had been pretending all along!
What puzzled him most was that these monsters were actually willing to help the Expedition Army.
