It was also certain that a Great Being had an Abode.
They had even heard of Great Beings inviting someone to become an Immortal and enter their Abodes.
But what did he mean by inviting an entire fleet?
Was the whole fleet supposed to become Immortals?
The main forces of both the Royal Family and the Reforging Flame were in this fleet!
Sidney could not help picturing a scene:

Actually, the invitation to the Abode was not the most outrageous part. It was a Great Being's Courtyard, after all; he could invite whomever he liked.
What Sidney could not understand most was why he had said the Abode was up ahead.

He had never heard of anyone building an Abode on the Seabed. They were all above Dream.
As for a connecting passage? He had never heard of that either.
