"That's good, that's good!" Shikamaru Nara breathed a sigh of relief.
"This shouldn't affect our movements, right? If it won't, we need to head back to the village as soon as possible."
Sakura shook her head. "Not yet."
"Her Byakugan were only just put back in, and her condition isn't quite stable yet."
"So it wouldn't be appropriate to leave right now."
Shikamaru thought for a moment, then asked, "Then roughly how long will it take for Hanabi's condition to stabilize?"
"As long as she's stable, even if she has trouble moving, we can have someone carry her on their back or use a stretcher."
"At least two hours." After a moment's consideration, Sakura gave him a definite answer.
"Two hours?"
Shikamaru nodded. That wasn't too long.
"Understood. We can use that time to pack up camp and bundle up everything we can take."
"Then keep looking after Hanabi. I'll get to work."
"Okay."
Shikamaru first told everyone about Hanabi's condition, then ordered them to withdraw in two hours.
Once they confirmed that Hanabi was all right, the atmosphere in camp relaxed completely.
Everyone began packing up, talking and laughing as they prepared to leave.
Kiba crouched beside the campfire, feeding Akamaru jerky. Tenten put the scattered scrolls back into the ninja tools pouch at her waist one by one, while Tokuma and Hōmon spoke quietly nearby, occasionally glancing toward the medical tent.
The others also worked together at ease, beginning to sort out their supplies.
