Just as Sasuke Uchiha had said, there were basically no clues worth noting left in the stone chamber before them.
The Search Team had already examined it thoroughly several times when they discovered it.
After the members of Konoha's Analysis Team arrived, they had practically dismantled the entire chamber.
So when Naruto Uzumaki looked around, he indeed found no useful clues whatsoever.
Next, he would enter Sage Mode, enhance his senses, and carefully search the entire chamber again in case anything had been missed.
Though the chances were slim.
Sasuke himself knew that too, but what if?
No one could guarantee that there really were no hidden clues here.
Naruto walked around and ran his fingers over the barely distinguishable symbols on the wall.
"All right, nothing else." There was little disappointment in Naruto's voice. "I'll take another look in Sage Mode."
Sasuke nodded slightly and stepped aside twice to give him room.
Naruto walked to the center of the stone chamber and sat cross-legged.
His breathing began to grow deep and steady!
The next second, the quiet yet immense presence of natural energy radiated from him.
Sage Mode!
Naruto opened his eyes. His pupils had become horizontal slits, and his irises were darker than usual.
Without any unnecessary words, he immediately extended his senses.
Back when he had just learned Sage Mode, Naruto could at most use it to sense chakra.
But his long training, along with the power the Sage of Six Paths had given him during the Fourth Shinobi World War, had changed that.
They had directly resulted in a substantial improvement in every aspect of Naruto's perception when he entered Sage Mode.
Now, he could use Sage Mode to perceive all sorts of things.
That was also why Sasuke had some expectations of him.
