"Damn it!"
Tsunade stared at the ruins before her, filled with anxiety. If the Akatsuki had abducted Han, their only remaining target was Konoha's Nine-Tails Jinchuriki-Naruto Uzumaki!
Whatever happened, Tsunade did not want anything to happen to Han, the Five-Tails Jinchuriki.
But looking at the obvious aftermath of a battle before her, Tsunade held little hope that Han and Ōnoki had survived.
"This is trouble! If something has happened to both Ōnoki and Han, we won't be able to explain this to Iwagakure." Tsunade pressed a hand to her smooth forehead with a headache. This really was a major disaster.
More importantly, with Ōnoki and Han harmed, whether Iwagakure would accept the plan discussed at the Five Kage Summit remained unknown.
"Over here!"
Jiraiya suddenly shouted from a distance, snapping Tsunade out of her thoughts.
Had he found them?
Tsunade hurried over, only to be greeted by the bodies of a group of Iwa Shinobi.
As an experienced medical ninja, Tsunade could tell at a glance how these Iwa Shinobi had died.
"Most died from blade wounds! Whoever attacked moved ruthlessly and gave these Cloud Ninja practically no time to react." Jiraiya spoke with a serious expression. Just from the state of their bodies, he could imagine the battle at the time.
The Iwa Shinobi must have come to support Ōnoki and Han, but the enemy had effortlessly killed them as soon as they reached the battlefield.
It appeared that some of them had died without even figuring out who the enemy was-or rather, without even catching sight of their attacker.
"What a terrifying enemy! Who knows where the Akatsuki found these people?"
Jiraiya shook his head. Fortunately, Tsunade had forbidden him from going to Amegakure to investigate Nagato and the Akatsuki. Otherwise, he would have died without a burial
