Asuma Sarutobi and the others stared dumbfounded at Konoha, which looked like a field of ruins before them, filled with disbelief.

Although Kakashi Hatake had just told them what had happened, without seeing it for themselves, they had not believed Konoha had truly suffered such an outrageous attack.

Now that they had seen it, however, they were utterly stunned.

After all, no one would have imagined that Konoha could ever be destroyed to this extent.

Even during the Nine-Tails' Attack and the Konoha Crush Plan, the entire village had never suffered this much destruction.

"Even the terrain has completely changed!" Asuma murmured as he looked at the unfamiliar surroundings.

Neji Hyuga swept his pale eyes over the area. "None of Konoha escaped destruction. Basically every location was covered."

"The enemy's Ninjutsu was powerful. It left Konoha absolutely no room to evade it."

Might Guy let out a long breath, barely managing to calm his agitated feelings.

Even someone like him had been startled just now, and it had taken him quite a while to recover.

The scene before him was simply too frightening. Even as a Jonin, he could not accept that the once-bustling, peaceful Konoha had been destroyed in a single stroke.

Everything that had once been familiar seemed to have vanished.

"Where are the villagers?"

The group temporarily set aside their turbulent emotions and began searching for the place where Konoha's villagers were resting.

"Over there, where all those tents are." Neji, who had already spotted them, pointed toward the "valley floor," indicating the location to everyone.

"I still can't accept that the old Konoha has become like this. This place has actually turned into a valley."

"The level ground has completely caved in... there's not a trace of what it used to be... this really is unbelievable."
