"The Tailed Beasts' power and chakra are far too terrifying. If you can maintain your own consciousness in that state, you can naturally put them to tremendously powerful use."
Motoi said with some feeling, "Unfortunately, becoming a perfect Jinchūriki is just too difficult."
"Lord Killer B is the only perfect Jinchūriki in Kumogakure!"
"Huh?" A question mark appeared over Naruto's head. "But doesn't Kumogakure have two Tailed Beasts?"
"Yes. Unfortunately, Lady Yugito Nii is still quite far from being a perfect Jinchūriki. Although she's very strong and has earned the Two-Tails' recognition, she isn't a perfect Jinchūriki."
"It's that hard?"
Naruto scratched his head. Kumogakure had so many facilities suited to Jinchūriki training, along with other people to help, yet even the Two-Tails Jinchūriki wasn't a perfect Jinchūriki. That showed just how difficult achieving that state was.
But a little difficulty like this wouldn't defeat Naruto.
Since someone had succeeded, that meant there was a way. If others could do it, so could he.
Seeing that Naruto hadn't been defeated by the difficulty before him and was instead brimming with boundless determination and confidence once again, Motoi couldn't help smiling.
In some ways, this boy from Konohagakure really was a lot like Killer B had once been.
Perhaps only someone like him could truly master the power of a Tailed Beast.
After some thought, Motoi pondered as he recalled his time with Killer B. Only after a long while did he speak with some uncertainty.
"Naruto..."
"Hmm?"
Naruto, who was wolfing down his food, raised his head blankly and looked at Motoi in confusion.
He needed to hurry up and eat. Once lunch was over, he would have to continue training.
Yamato, meanwhile, ate with an expression of utter misery, looking as though he couldn't taste his food at all.
