Elsewhere, in a secluded forest, several Sand shinobi held Summoning Scrolls between their teeth and rapidly formed hand seals. Summoning formations spread in an instant, their lines intertwining and intersecting. A massive summoning formation took shape in the blink of an eye and began to shine brightly.

Completely unexpectedly, smoke erupted from three locations in the forest outside Konoha. A total of three enormous, three-headed snakes rose with hisses, their massive bodies crushing trees to splinters as they charged toward Konoha.
Alongside the snakes' assault, large numbers of Sand shinobi appeared, brandishing their weapons with vicious grins.
In an instant, Konoha came under attack from both within and without.
More critically, even the safety of the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, was in jeopardy.
"The last thing we wanted to see has happened. The Sand shinobi have torn up the peace treaty and started a war!"
Shikaku Nara narrowed his eyes as he watched the three-headed snake charging toward him from close by, its enormous body carving a conspicuous
