After a little speculation, Naruto Uzumaki had an idea.
Takigakure's entrance was hidden behind a waterfall to begin with. In fact, the entire village could be said to be surrounded by waterfalls.
This meant that although Takigakure was a small nation situated where the great nations bordered one another, it was very difficult to invade.
Its unique natural environment was the best barrier.
Of course, in an environment like this, traveling to and from the outside world became very difficult.
To make that travel easier without compromising the village's safety, the people of Takigakure had devised a way to dig tunnels in concealed spots behind various waterfalls.
They wanted to let villagers and ninja come and go freely.
And the cave here was good proof of that.
Judging by how the tunnel hadn't been dug all the way through, though, it had probably been abandoned for some reason.
"This cave isn't it. I'll look somewhere else, then."
Naruto scratched his head and decided to use the method he was best at.
"Multiple Shadow Clone Technique!"
A dozen or so shadow clones appeared beside him.
He took out the map and spread it flat on the ground. "Listen up! Next, everyone needs to follow the locations marked on the map and carefully search anywhere the base might be!"
"Yeah!"
"Leave it to me!"
"Got it!"
"Let's go."
"Come help out!"
The dozen or so shadow clones instantly dashed out through the waterfall and scattered in every direction.
"Yep, that should do it." Naruto planted both hands on his hips and nodded smugly. Using shadow clones really was more convenient.
"All right, now it's my turn."
Although he had already established that the cave behind this waterfall wasn't where Obito's base was located,
