War God Mountain stood among the mountains in the northeastern O'Brien Empire. Five peaks stood side by side like fingers, the main peak the tallest and the other four slightly shorter. Clouds and mist shrouded their upper slopes all year round. From a distance, the five peaks looked like stone shoots growing out of a sea of clouds.

Loa arrived in the morning. Rather than flying straight up, he landed at the foot of the mountain and walked up the mountain path. It was not that he could not fly; he wanted to see what the War God Sect was like.

The path was paved with bluestone, just wide enough for two people to walk abreast. Moss grew on the steps, making them a little slippery, but Loa's steps were steady. After roughly the time it took an incense stick to burn, training grounds began appearing on either side-patches of open ground covered in gravel, with weapon racks and stone training weights along their edges. Several bare-chested young men were sparring, their punches and kicks stirring the air. They tossed stone weights back and forth, catching them without so much as a wobble.

Loa glanced at them without stopping and continued upward.

As he approached the mountain gate, two gray-robed disciples came to meet him. Neither was very old, looking to be in his early twenties, but their auras were strong. Both were Rank 7 Warriors.

"Sir, War God Mountain does not receive outsiders." The disciple on the left cupped his hands, his tone polite but firm.

Loa took a crimson token from inside his robe and handed it over. "Casrot invited me."

The disciple on the right accepted the token and turned it over for a look. His expression changed at once. Casrot's name was engraved on its back.
