Background & History

Yun Yun originates from the Douqi Continent and is the Sect Master of the Yun Lan Sect. She is summoned to Tianxuan Continent by Chen Xuan's System Lottery before she has met Xiao Yan. Her Douqi is initially completely unusable in the foreign world's Yuan Power-based environment, leaving her frightened, suspicious of Chen Xuan, and desperate to return to the Gama Empire for Nalan Yanran's three-year agreement with Xiao Yan. 73 74

Chen Xuan gives her a ring that converts her Douqi into Yuan Power, although its three-use daily limit and less-fluid circulation restrict her. With no immediate route home, she stays in the Ancient Tomb and gradually adapts to Tianxuan Continent. 74

After unknowingly eating a Silver Dragon egg with Chen Xuan, Yun Yun is affected by its properties. In the aftermath, shame drives her to attempt suicide; she abandons the attempt only after Chen Xuan threatens the Yun Lan Sect and Nalan Yanran. She accepts his promise that he will eventually take her back to the Douqi Continent. 75
