I felt a little wistful. All the books I wrote on my main account were abandoned for various reasons, yet somehow this one on my alt weathered every storm and made it to completion. Life really was unpredictable.
My original motivation for writing this book was that after finishing Avatar, I came to Qidian looking for fanfiction, only to discover there wasn't any!
Good grief, it really was niche.
But if there wasn't any food, I could cook my own. I was a fanfic writer, after all.
Writing fanfiction for works I loved, writing books I liked-that was also the driving force behind my writing.
As for why I wrote a story like this, of course it was because I lusted after Azula's body (cross that out). Ahem, of course it was because Azula was so compelling.
But at first, I only intended to write casually, producing it for my own consumption, so I only came up with a beginning and an ending. Everything in between was left entirely to fate, and this was how it turned out.
I still have to thank everyone for your support and love.
This book had been dragging on for a long time, too. The first chapter actually went up in late March 2022. A year and a half had passed, and there weren't even two hundred chapters. Even I couldn't bear to look at that (laughing through tears).
If I were following a book like this, I'd want to hack the author to death, so once again, thank you all for your support and patience.
