Azula loosened up a little and was ready. Everyone else watched her curiously.
From past records, they knew Azula was exceptionally powerful. Not only did she possess the unique Azure Cold Flame, but she also wielded devastating Lightningbending, and had once come close to killing Aang outright.
Even so, Tenzin did not think she could succeed.
This array of screens tested an airbender's basic footwork and ability to sense air currents. Forcing a way through on evasion and reflexes alone was extremely difficult, and Korra was the best example.
Especially after seeing Azula choose to force her way through just as Korra had, he felt he could already see the outcome.

The next moment, the sight before them left Tenzin and everyone else present gaping in shock.
Contrary to everyone's expectations, after charging into the array, Azula did not touch a single screen. Relying on her terrifying reflexes and evasive abilities, she advanced through it like lightning, clearing the array in the blink of an eye, much faster even than Jinora.
"Well? Didn't I say it was easy?"
Azula lightly dusted off the nonexistent dirt on her clothes, then strolled over to Korra and teased her.
"I-!"
Korra flushed scarlet with embarrassment and anger, but had nothing to say.
Both she and Azula had forced their way through, yet Azula had passed with ease while she had been beaten until her head was covered in lumps. Before these ironclad facts, any defense would have rung hollow.
All she could do was hang her head and concede.
"Fine, you're good. But I'll beat you next time!"
"Heh. Keep practicing, little rookie."
At that, Azula curled her lips and raised her chin slightly, like a victorious peacock, infuriating Korra all over again.
