Ten years later.

The New Continent of Green World was shaped like a gourd, surrounded by ocean.

In the east of the New Continent.

There was a town that grew more prosperous by the day.

A magnificent, gold-and-jade temple stood in the eastern part of town.

Yet at this moment.

The area around the temple, which should have been the liveliest place in town, was deserted.

Everyone had gathered along the long, flower-strewn avenue stretching from the town gate to the eastern side of town.

A silver-haired old man sat serenely at the temple entrance, looking west with eyes full of anticipation.

That was where the town's west gate stood.

A white-robed procession approached from outside town, its armor gleaming and banners fluttering.

They were spirited and full of fighting resolve, every one of them good-looking, some tall and upright, others slender and dashing.

A great golden banner embroidered with a Three-Legged Divine Bird stood in the middle of the procession, billowing in the wind.

But both the people lining the road and the young people in the white-robed procession fixed their eyes on the girl at its head.

Their gazes brimmed with wonder and admiration.

She was a divine maiden who seemed to have stepped out of a painting, her beauty beyond that of mortals.

She had long, silky pink hair, piled high like clouds, and bright white teeth gleaming within her lips. Her exquisite features seemed painstakingly carved by the creator, her skin fair and lustrous, her whole person so pale she seemed to glow.

She dressed simply, but even her plain, elegant white robe could not conceal her tall, shapely figure.

With a sword hanging at her waist, she walked at the very front of the procession, all the light between heaven and earth gathering upon her.
