Chu Kuangren's understanding of Daoist Law was far too advanced.
Especially after spending three years in seclusion comprehending Emperor Scriptures, his current insight into Daoist Law was probably not far behind even a Saint's.
Upon realizing this, a thought suddenly occurred to Chu Kuangren. What would happen if he debated the Dao with a Saint now?
He had wanted to debate the Dao with a Saint a long time ago.
But he had never had the opportunity.
And now, that opportunity lay right before him.
"Wait a little longer." Chu Kuangren took a deep breath and suppressed the impulse in his heart. It was not that he had lost his nerve, but the Saint was currently delivering a discourse. Rashly engaging him in a debate on the Dao would be rather discourteous.
With that thought, Chu Kuangren cradled the Kunwu Sword in his arms. He stopped listening to the Saint's discourse and turned instead to comprehending the mysteries of the Sword Soul.
For him, this was more useful than listening to the Saint's discourse.
Time passed, and three days went by in the blink of an eye.
The Saint's discourse also came to a close.
Everyone gradually emerged from the Saint's Dao, each looking as though they had benefited greatly. Even the Supreme Beings had gained something.
"We thank you, Saint!"
A Supreme Supreme rose and bowed.
"We thank you, Saint!"
The others followed suit, rising and bowing in heartfelt gratitude.
Whitebrow Saint smiled faintly. After this discourse, he had gained some more merit. Although it did little for his treasured body of merit, small amounts accumulated into something great. Even a mosquito's flesh was still meat.
"This concludes the discourse. If you have any questions, feel free to ask," Whitebrow Saint said mildly.
The cultivators' eyes lit up.
