"D-devil!!"
The monk of the Elysium Pure Land slumped on the ground, looking at Chu Kuangren as though he were looking at the greatest terror in the world!
Chu Kuangren himself froze.
What did I do?
How did I scare him into such a state?
As the monk looked at Chu Kuangren, scenes involuntarily flashed through his mind-terrifying memories he had buried deep within, the ones he least wanted to recall!
It was the horrifying sight of a white-robed man wielding an ancient sword and a Long Halberd, slaughtering his way forward, destroying Buddhism.
Heavens!
My Buddha!
He could not believe that such a terrifying devil could exist in this world. Even the most dreadful demons recorded in the Buddhist scriptures could never compare to him!
One Arhat and Bodhisattva after another fell at his feet.
Blood stained the mountains, rivers, and earth red, the heavens wept blood, and ten thousand Buddhas wailed!
Yet none of this could halt this devil's steps-the unceasing cries of slaughter, the unstoppable sword light...
Scene after scene reverberated through the monk's mind, terrifying him to the utmost. He slumped on the ground, drenched in cold sweat, unable to move.
At the rear of the Elysium Pure Land.
Someone heard the word "devil" and immediately led a group charging out.
"Where is the demon?!"
"Let us deliver him from this world!"
They came out bristling with aggression, but their pupils abruptly contracted when they saw Chu Kuangren.
Then, just like the first monk, they all fell onto their backsides, their faces filled with terror and panic.
"I-it's him."
"Why has this devil come again?"
Chu Kuangren shook his head helplessly.
He already had a guess.
These people must have been among the monks who had tried to stop him from going to the Heavenly Dragon
