Hoshinomiya Kei could only say reluctantly:
"Fine, keep it to yourself, then. Compensation isn't out of the question. But you have to really have a way to deal a serious blow to Class D before I'll pay the corresponding price for the deal, little Natsukawa!"
After saying that, Hoshinomiya Kei mischievously pretended to be shy again:
"Ah! I get it! Little Natsukawa, you don't have any strange ideas about your teacher, do you? Using a deal like this... no! You can't! There's an age gap. We can't do this!"
"You're not going to use this sort of deal to blackmail me, are you?"

As Hoshinomiya Kei spoke, she drew her body in closer, holding Natsukawa's arm more firmly.
She looked just like a shy little girl, though, of course, she really did look like a little girl on the outside, too.
Natsukawa found her blatantly feigned shyness a little too much to bear, although his arm did feel pretty nice.

"If I can deal a major blow to Class D, how many points would you be willing to pay me, Hoshinomiya-sensei?"

Hoshinomiya Kei put on another act, sighing dejectedly.
After seeing Natsukawa's somewhat speechless expression.
Hoshinomiya Kei let go of his arm again, patted his shoulder, and said with a smile:
"Hehe, don't mind me, little Natsukawa! I'm just that lively!"
"Of course! I can agree to the points deal you mentioned! But the payment will depend on how badly you hurt Class D! How about it? No problems with that, right?"
"Zero points!"
Hoshinomiya couldn't quite follow. What did he mean by zero points? Was he saying he could leave Class D with zero points?
"Hm? What? Did I hear that wrong? What do you mean?"
Natsukawa said calmly:
"Yes, that's right! Zero points! I'm saying I can make Class D's Class Points total zero at the end of the first month. What do you think of that, Hoshinomiya-sensei? Would that count as a major blow?"
Hoshinomiya found it a little hard to believe. After all, these were students selected by Advanced Nurturing. No previous year had ever had a class finish its first month with zero Class Points.
But hearing Natsukawa's confident tone, Hoshinomiya Kei began to believe him a little.
Hoshinomiya thought excitedly that if that really happened, an unimaginable gap would open between Class D and the other classes in the very first month!
She could imagine their hopes of reaching Class A being completely shattered! After all, Class Points weren't that easy to increase!
Hoshinomiya Chie said excitedly:
"Can you really do it, Natsukawa? If you can go that far, I can give you a satisfactory payment in points!"
Natsukawa said calmly:
"Two million Personal Points, with a deposit of one hundred thousand! You can pay the rest next month when the Class Points results are out!"
As for why he was so confident, it certainly wasn't because Natsukawa had an excellent plan.
Of course, it was because he had confidence in Class D!
After all, Class D was a gathering place for defective goods, with far too many real pieces of work.
In the original story, after the first month's conduct evaluation ended, they were awarded zero Class Points.
"You're really greedy, Little Tatsuya! Asking for so many Personal Points."
Natsukawa:
Hoshinomiya Kei really wasn't a serious teacher.
She kept changing what she called him...
Then Hoshinomiya Kei took another deep breath and agreed:
"But, all right! It's a deal!"
Hoshinomiya Kei calculated her savings in points and felt she could agree.
Having worked at Advanced Nurturing for so many years, she was paid quite well and could easily afford two million points.
Given how confident he is, I'll agree for now, even if he can't quite bring Class D's first Class Points total down to zero.
He'll still deal a tremendous blow. Even if Class D only has three or four hundred Class Points after the first month, I can accept that! After all, Natsukawa was extremely confident.
Moreover, from holding class meetings and checking on Class B through the surveillance feeds, Hoshinomiya Kei could guess that Class B would definitely have plenty of Class Points at the end of the first month. If Class D fell too far behind, they definitely wouldn't be able to catch up!
After Hoshinomiya transferred one hundred thousand points to Natsukawa.
She mischievously took his arm again and pretended to complain:
"Boo-hoo, you're asking for too much, Little Tatsuya! What if I don't have enough Personal Points? Could I pay off some of it with my body...?"
Natsukawa raised his eyebrows, reached out with his free hand and gave her a squeeze, then pushed her away and refused:
"No! Just have those Personal Points ready, Hoshinomiya-sensei!"
"I should get back to class."
Hoshinomiya Kei glared angrily at his retreating figure and said through gritted teeth:
"You rotten brat, can't I even make a joke?!"
Damn it, my chest hurts!
