A date with Suzune

Not knowing what Natsukawa actually wanted, Horikita Suzune simply stopped thinking about it and said coldly:

"You horrible jerk, don't underestimate my resolve! I came to this school with firm convictions! I'm prepared to do what it takes!"

"I accept this ridiculous deal! I hope you won't regret it!"

Natsukawa said with a smile:

"Good, Suzune. Let's exchange contact information."

"Once our date ends tomorrow, I'll tell you the information about the school!"

Horikita Suzune said coldly:

"Hmph! Hurry up and let go of me!"

Natsukawa casually stroked her face with his right hand, then let go.

"Naughty girl!"

Then, despite her flushed face, Horikita Suzune remained expressionless and silent the entire time she exchanged contact information with Natsukawa before leaving first.

How should I go to meet him?

It should just be something boring, right? I don't have any experience with this, either.

I'll just keep it casual.

At around nine in the morning, a knock came at Natsukawa's dorm room door.

When Natsukawa opened the door, he saw Horikita Suzune already standing outside.

After returning yesterday, Natsukawa had used his phone to tell Suzune which floor his dorm room was on.

Suzune had returned to her usual aloof demeanor.

For her outfit today, Suzune had merely replaced her outer school uniform jacket with another piece of clothing. It was extremely simple, but paired with her figure, it still looked attractive.

Natsukawa greeted her:

"Hi, Suzune. I didn't expect you to come so early. I thought you weren't coming."

Horikita Suzune said with an indifferent expression:

"Don't get the wrong idea. I'm only here to fulfill the terms of our deal. This is the resolve necessary to obtain the information!"

She was quite a tsundere. Natsukawa didn't mind and said with a smile:

"Suzune, come in and wait a moment. I'll just change, and we can head out!"

Suzune replied coldly:

"Natsukawa, you're smiling so lewdly. I'm not going to see anything strange in a moment, am I?"

"Suzune, you won't make any friends acting like that! I'm just smiling naturally. What's lewd about it?"

"Hmph!"

Although Horikita Suzune was merciless with her words, she still followed him into his dorm room.

After looking around the room, Horikita Suzune showed no intention of sitting on the sofa to wait for Natsukawa. She simply stood beside the table with her arms crossed, scrutinizing him.

"Suzune, you can sit down and rest for a bit. I just need to change my shirt."

Suzune gave him a cold reply:

"No need!"

"Natsukawa, don't you prepare in advance when you invite a girl out shopping? How rude."

She had gotten up at seven, though she had wasted a lot of time agonizing over it...

"You really are a horrible jerk!"

Suzune clearly had no intention of sitting down. Since she didn't mind, Natsukawa minded even less, so he took off his shirt and found a casual top to put on.

As he changed, Natsukawa complained:

"Suzune, I messaged you at eight this morning. But you didn't reply, so I thought you wanted to wait until the afternoon..."

I didn't expect this guy to have such a well-built body.

Were those abs...?

Horikita Suzune somewhat regretted not sitting on the sofa with her back to him.

Suzune blushed a little, then returned to normal and walked toward the dorm room door.

"Shut up!"

"If you're done changing, let's go."

Natsukawa followed her and said:

"Yeah, yeah, coming. Suzune, you're blushing a little."

The two chatted as they walked toward the elevator.

With a calm expression, Horikita Suzune retorted:

"You're imagining things."

"I didn't expect you to be not only delusional but an exhibitionist too, Natsukawa!"

Natsukawa said with a smile:

"I clearly saw it!"

Horikita Suzune continued her calm analysis:

"No normal girl could handle something so sudden, could she? It's hardly strange that I was surprised!"

"And here I thought you weren't normal, Suzune!"

Horikita Suzune said icily:

"What did you say!"

Suzune drove her elbow toward Natsukawa's waist beside her, but unfortunately, he blocked it, and she failed.

"Suzune, you can't be so violent! That's not cute at all!"

Horikita Suzune didn't mind Natsukawa's teasing at all. As though she hadn't been the one who had just moved, she answered calmly:

"That was simply what I judged to be the most effective way of dealing with your shameless behavior!"

"Where are we going next?"

"No rush. Just follow me."

Next, Natsukawa took Horikita Suzune around Keyaki Mall and visited some places on campus they didn't usually go to.

Unfortunately, once they left the dormitory building, Horikita Suzune reverted to her usual cold, aloof demeanor, following Natsukawa in silence and occasionally replying with a sentence or two.

She did, however, eat the food Natsukawa handed her.

In front of an oden shop, Horikita Suzune held a small bowl of food in her left hand.

Natsukawa took another skewer of balls from the shopkeeper and offered it to Horikita Suzune.

"Suzune, try this. It tastes pretty good!"

Suzune didn't reach out to take it. As far as she was concerned, the food in her little bowl was already enough.

Seeing this, Natsukawa held the balls to Horikita Suzune's lips, leaving her no choice but to reluctantly eat them.

As she ate, Horikita Suzune gave her assessment:

"They taste pretty good, but I've already had enough!"

Natsukawa said with a smile:

"Right? The food I recommend is fantastic!"

Watching Suzune chew on the balls like a little hamster, Natsukawa suddenly had an idea for a prank.

"Suzune, have another!"

"Mmph, mmph, Natsukawa, I've already had enough!"

Suzune rolled her eyes at Natsukawa. This horrible jerk.

That was not just one at all. The despicable jerk had stuffed her mouth full.

"You're making me so uncomfortable!"

Natsukawa said with a smile:

"Haha, Suzune, you looked so funny just now!"

Horikita Suzune slapped Natsukawa's hand away and said coldly:

"You jerk with your nasty sense of humor. I already told you I'm not used to eating balls. Besides, I already have enough food in my hands!"

"Suzune, this is a kind of training! Eating balls is good for your health!"

Suzune frowned and calmly retorted:

"I don't think science has shown that eating balls is good for your health! Besides, this has nothing to do with training, does it?"

Natsukawa responded with a smile to the utterly serious Suzune.

"Suzune, I can see you don't understand at all!"

"Anyway, you have to keep trying little by little to get used to it later."

Horikita Suzune speared a piece of food in her little bowl that interested her and put it in her mouth to chew. After finishing it, she said icily:

"Hah. Natsukawa, you're far too naive. If not for this deal, I personally don't think I would ever come here to buy balls to eat, even if they're a very common food in Sakurajima. So I don't need to get used to them!"
