This book really didn't do very well during its free run, but thanks to the support of longtime readers, it finally stumbled its way to going premium. I won't write a special author's note when it does; I'll just post five chapters instead.

My writing speed has improved a little lately, so future daily updates will range from 4,000 to 6,000 Chinese characters. Longtime readers know how much I agonize over my writing. The two halves of my brain fighting each other is pretty much a daily occurrence. I often labor away to write 1,000 characters, only to look back, find something off, and delete 500.
But even so, given this author's level of intelligence, glaring logical flaws and errors in basic common knowledge still crop up often. If you spot any, please point them out right away, and I'll fix them promptly too.
