Folks, here's the thing. Let me explain some of the questions that have been coming up a lot in the comments lately. Since I've inexplicably been given a bunch of one-star reviews, I'm here to respond.
First, the protagonist absolutely will not have children with men, so rest assured about that. To the dear reader who gave me a bad review over this, I actually mentioned it in the story: the protagonist will only have children with beautiful female characters. Yes, beautiful female characters. Someone like Chao Tianxiang-the protagonist won't have children with her either. There's no need to wonder about that.
The author doesn't have any strange inclinations.
Next, about the female leads.
If readers want someone added to the harem, I'll consider it. They'll have a child together anyway, and she won't know who the father is.
And you don't need to worry about getting cucked. As long as someone has had a child with the protagonist, I won't write any storylines involving male characters for her. Rest assured about that. I absolutely won't do anything to disgust you.
In short, have the child first, then we'll talk. Whether she joins the harem will depend on the circumstances. But this premise definitely means multiple female leads. There's no way it'll be a single-female-lead story, so my apologies to readers who love exclusive romance.
Next, how do men have children?
It's likewise a drop of blood. They can find a man to match with themselves.
But children born this way will most likely have problems, and their personalities can't be customized. However, the price will be half as much.
This is a genetic defect and can't be changed. They are two men, after all.
But at half the price, there will always be countless gambling addicts willing to take the bet. This is where I'll screw Yu Xiaogang over, and screw him over royally.
As for normal reproduction, that means breeding using the Soul Beast blood cultivated in the author's shop. There are no such concerns on the Douluo Continent, since Soul Beasts can take human form.
The system can give these Soul Beasts' blood human properties ahead of time, so when regular male customers place orders, their offspring are bred using the blood of Soul Beasts cultivated in the protagonist's shop.
Those are the two ways men can breed.
Anyway, anyone I want to screw over will be paired with another man. For example, Gangzi and Flender, Gangzi and Haozi. Gangzi and Little Scumbag!
Anyone I don't want to screw over will do it the normal way.
There probably isn't anything else that needs explaining. The reproduction mechanics and the question of how male customers have children have all been explained.
Next, as for whether these children will fall in love later on, some readers are already looking that far ahead.
Honestly, by the time the children reach adulthood, we'll probably be several hundred thousand Chinese characters in.
I haven't considered it yet, but there's no need to worry. Everyone I don't want to screw over will have a divine seat, and once they become gods, there won't be so much romance. I'll also add a patch for that.
Since I'm here anyway, let me tell you about the settings I'm planning for later.
My plan is that after the protagonist and the Goddess of Life have a divine child, new packages and a new system will unlock: the God-Connecting Package and the Divine Child System.
The choice here is whether to use the Douluo Continent's Body God, or have the system launch a dimensional-reduction strike, choosing the Gods of the Myriad Realms to establish a brand-new system of gods on the Douluo Continent, build a new Divine Realm, and launch a dimensional-reduction strike against Douluo.
I'm still torn over this question.
You can also give me some suggestions.
There will also be an Accelerated Growth Package later on, with a Growth Instance. How far would you all be comfortable taking this?
Should the children go in alone to train? Or should their mothers be allowed to accompany them, aging these female characters up a little too? Of course, the protagonist could as well.
Some readers have also said the children should get their moments to shine. I agree, so besides the Continental Advanced Soul Master Elite Tournament, I'm planning to hold a Continental Advanced Elite Children's Tournament, where everyone competes through their children.
I'll also plan more interactive storylines later on, giving the children more moments to shine. I won't spoil those just yet.
Oh, right, for what these children look like, you can refer to the character designs in those hugely popular animated children's dramas on Douyin, like Fupin and those other little cuties!
That covers the answers to all the questions I've received during this time, along with some ideas for new settings. If you find any other problems, feel free to leave a comment here.
I'll definitely listen, because I've made changes to address every issue you've brought up.
Rest assured, everyone. Guaranteed satisfaction.
Love you all, mwah!
