Sea Dragon Douluo spent years guarding Sea God Island under High Priest Bo Saixi. His pledge of loyalty to the Sea God kept him from marrying, although he deeply wanted a child. He also understood the other Sacred Pillars’ desire for children, particularly Sea Illusion, Sea Heart, and Sea Witch 51 55.

He had ties to a family on the Douluo Continent and encountered Lin Yan’s shop while away from the island on personal business. He knew that remaining away too long violated the Sea God’s prohibition and expected punishment upon returning 63 87.

Long Aotian’s Creation

After catching a billing mistake during an earlier visit, Sea Dragon Douluo received priority service and a twenty-percent discount from Lin Yan. He chose every available cultivation package, but declined to customize his child’s sex 51 52.

Lin Yan combined his blood with that of a female Mandala Snake. The initial purple embryo was upgraded into a flawless red divine egg, then hatched and aged to approximately six years old. The boy awakened the Vast Sea Glazed True Dragon and Jade Dragon martial souls 54 55.

Return to Sea God Island

While escorting both children home, Sea Dragon Douluo accepted a ride on Lin Yan’s Kunpeng. At the coast, the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King accused him of abducting the ocean’s true master and attacked him. Lin Yan intervened and defeated the whale king 82 83 84.

Sea Dragon Douluo dismissed the whale king’s warning that Poseidon would see the girl as a threat. He guaranteed that the Sea God would never order her harmed—unaware that Poseidon subsequently commanded Bo Saixi to kill her 85 86.

Upon reaching the island, he knelt before Bo Saixi and confessed. Long Aotian immediately triggered the Sea God’s Nine Tests, confirming his fears about his son’s potential. Bo Saixi condemned his unauthorized use of her blood and postponed deciding his punishment 87.

Bo Saixi accepted the girl as her daughter and named her Lin Xiaolan. Sea Dragon Douluo then led Lin Yan to the clan treasury and settled his outstanding payment 88.

Exile and Refuge

After Bo Saixi clashed with Poseidon, she, Lin Xiaolan, and Sea Dragon Douluo were expelled from Sea God Island. The Deep Sea Demonic Whale King attempted to take the girl and recruit them against the Sea God, prompting the group to seek refuge at Lin Yan’s shop 97.

Fatherhood reveals a much softer side. He becomes visibly anxious about his son’s awakening, cries while holding him, and regards the expense of creating Long Aotian as entirely worthwhile 55 56.

His concern for Bo Saixi leads him to make a major decision without her consent. Although he hopes to save her life and change her unhappy future, he knows he has overstepped: he openly accepts responsibility before Qian Daoliu and later fears Bo Saixi’s judgment 63 64 69 87.
