Everyone thought she was the kind of strong, forceful woman who would never cry and needed no one's protection.

But... how could she truly be free of melancholy and sorrow after a century of devotion went unrewarded?

After leaving the tavern, Setsura had no idea where she wanted to go or what she wanted to do. Her mind was blank. Maybe she just wanted to walk around outside and... clear her head a little.

After leaving the inn, Setsura wandered along the dim streets. Many of the houses here had been destroyed in the earlier battle, leaving the area deathly quiet...

Though many humans had survived with the Nura Clan's help, their fear of yokai had only grown deeper. If dawn had already come, the humans here would have fled long ago.

Because it was still dark, the humans had not fled yet, but they were all trembling as they hid inside damaged homes.

Sleeping was out of the question. They could only wait for daylight, then hurry away from this place.

As Setsura walked down the street, she could clearly sense... humans peeking at her from within some of the ruined houses.

But whenever those humans saw Setsura, they were usually too frightened to make a sound.

Even though Setsura and the Nura Clan yokai had protected them before, yokai were still yokai. It was impossible to expect ordinary people not to fear them and live alongside them peacefully...

But Setsura did not mind...

Then... without realizing it, Setsura walked into a dead-end alley.

Seeing that there was no road ahead, Setsura let out a long breath. She turned around, ready to leave. She had been out for quite a while; it was time to go back.

After all, she had only come out to calm herself down.
