"For most races, the Holy Blood Fruit's main effects are indeed healing injuries and increasing strength. But for us Beastmen—especially certain gifted individuals with 'Blood Corruption'—it possesses godlike power."

The tiger man's words left all the Beastmen present shocked and furious.
Something concerning the survival of their race had been exposed so easily. The Beastmen present simply could not accept it—especially since it had come from a tiger man they trusted.
"To others, the Holy Blood Fruit is not all that important. But it has one effect... it can erase most of the harm and burden inflicted on the body when activating Blood Corruption. It can even significantly extend the duration of Blood Corruption."
The tiger man seemed not to hear the other Beastmen's fury at all and continued revealing information about the Holy Blood Fruit.
"Blood Corruption..."
That truly was extremely important information. Beastmen could not use magic. They had become one of the fifteen great races mainly through their powerful physiques.
Though they ranked second from last—only slightly above the fifteenth-ranked Marine Race—the Marine Race was called the stupidest race imaginable by others.
