"She... we'll talk about her later... It'd be such a waste to kill her outright. Like Tsubaki, she could become another addition to my fighting force."
Sirin glanced at Takiyasha Hime. Killing her was out of the question. Takiyasha Hime was even more perfect than Tsubaki. How could such perfect experimental material be wasted?
If she could turn her into a Deadwalker, she could store her within the Imaginary Space inside the Herrscher Core, just like Beibei Dragon.
She would only need to awaken her when necessary.
The same went for Tsubaki, of course.
Sirin had asked Ai-chan about it. If she turned something into a Deadwalker or a Honkai Beast, it would be marked as her—Sirin's—private property.
She could freely take it back to the No Game No Life world or even other worlds. Of course... since it was Imaginary Space, she could only open it while she was Sirin.
But every world gave her one chance to switch into Sirin anyway, so it was no big deal.
So why waste her by killing her?
"Then handle it yourself. Just don't let her out again."
Kikyo nodded at that and said nothing more.
"Now that the cleansing mission is complete, all that remains are the undead imprisoned in the city. We may need to trouble you, Kikyo, to help them pass on."
In Japan, the phrase "become a Buddha" did not literally mean becoming a Buddha. It meant performing rites for the dead and sending them to the afterlife. Japan's religions—Shintoism and Buddhism—had blended together, and people believed that their departed ancestors and relatives protected their descendants from beyond. That was why they borrowed the Buddhist expression—becoming a Buddha.
"Mm."
Kikyo nodded. This was indeed part of her duty as a Miko.
"Sister Kikyo, I'll help you."
