Honkai and civilization—if described in Western Fantasy terms—were roughly order and chaos, existences above even the Divine Spirits. Even Divine Spirits had to choose a side.
If Honkai's Will were considered the will of the abyss, then Herrschers would be abyssal lords.
Abyssal lords stood on equal footing with Divine Spirits; they could be called demon gods. Their formation came from the abyssal will granting them Pseudo-Divinities.
This was exactly the same as Honkai's Will granting Herrschers their Herrscher Cores. There was no difference at all.
So siding with Honkai was no different from Divine Spirits siding with the abyss or with order. There was nothing shameful about it. And based on what she had learned about Honkai from the manga, Honkai truly treated Sirin well.
If not for the Star Chalice, Sirin might have sided with Honkai. But with the Star Chalice, she naturally would not allow Honkai to interfere with this world.
After obtaining the Star Chalice, Sirin became this world's Sole God and could freely create a paradise of her own. Why would she need Honkai's Will to meddle?
Still, there was no reason not to take what was offered. Now that Honkai's Will had rewarded her with a Herrscher Core, even a blank Core was an existence equivalent to a divinity.
"I wonder... can the Star Chalice seal Honkai? It should be able to, right?"
Although she would not allow Honkai's Will to interfere, Sirin felt that the instant she destroyed the planet, Honkai's Will would definitely descend completely.
When that time came, if she used the Star Chalice to create a new world, she would have to seal Honkai. Otherwise, the world she created would surely be destroyed by Honkai.
After thinking for a while, Sirin decided not to dwell on it any longer.
