The evil spirits stared at the Shrine Master and the Miko as if they were looking at a feast of delicacies.
"Father..."
Looking at those evil spirits, the young Miko's eyes revealed a trace of fear. Although she had been exposed to these supernatural things since childhood, that did not mean she was not afraid of them.
In the past, she had been safe under the protection of the gods, but now...
"Yuna, take the spirit talismans and run. I'll hold them off." The Shrine Master took out a talisman and began casting a spell with the last of his spiritual power, urgently urging the young Miko—Yuna—as he did so.

With that, the Shrine Master took the initiative and charged toward the evil spirits surrounding him.

Seeing the bloodshot look in the Shrine Master's eyes as he stared at her, Yuna knew that if she still refused to leave and let his life be wasted, her father would never rest in peace.
