Perhaps because of Asou Yuna's constitution, she was like those gods, giving off a scent that attracted yokai and evil spirits.
On the way back to the shrine with Seele, Asou Yuna intermittently encountered several evil spirits and monsters.
These monsters were not traditional yokai, but a kind of "spirit"—yokai from the Otherworld. Though they looked terrifying and had troublesome abilities, most of them were not as powerful as yokai that had gained intelligence... such as Oni, tengu, dog clans, and other yokai races.
Faced with these frightening-looking yokai, Seele was actually a little scared. If not for the "other self" inside her body, Seele probably would not have dared to come out at night!
But perhaps by coincidence, the power of her inner personality, Black Seele... happened to perfectly match the attributes of this world's Otherworld.
Seele's power, on the other hand, was the light attribute of this world, and combined with quantum power, she could freely travel between this world, the Otherworld, and even quantum space. Her power could also be used perfectly in all of them.
Against these monsters from the Otherworld, Seele's power could purify them perfectly, while Black Seele's power was even more tainted than theirs and could devour them directly.

In other words, they were devoured by taint...
After "eating" those yokai, Seele even leveled up once. She was now Level 2.
