Black Seele could control tentacles like octopus legs. They extended from a mass of filthy liquid... instantly restraining her prey before dragging it into the filth to "eat" it.

Asou Yuna suddenly stopped and pointed toward the steps at the intersection ahead.

"Yuna, you don't need to call me Divine Lord. Just call me Seele," Seele said softly before looking ahead.

There was a signpost beside the intersection bearing the words Moon Shadow Shrine. At the entrance to the steps stood two flickering streetlamps that looked as though they might go out at any moment. Perhaps because it was nighttime, many little insects fluttered beneath their dim light.

From here... the steps looked very high, at least a hundred of them. The shrine should have been at the top.

"How could I do that? Divine Lord's name cannot be called so casually." Asou Yuna answered with a serious expression. She had been taught that deities were lofty beings, and mortals could not casually speak their names.

"But... I... I'm not a deity."

Seele answered with a hint of helplessness.
