Before Asou Yuna could reply, Shimizu Meiyuki could not help offering a word of comfort.
"Divine Envoy, why don't you go look for Sister Seele?" Asou Yuna turned to Hiyamaru, who was sitting on a stone bench and happily munching on dried meat, and could not help asking.
"Don't worry. My Big Sister definitely won't be in trouble. If anyone's in trouble, it'll definitely be someone else."
Hiyamaru swallowed the food in her mouth in one gulp and answered Asou Yuna with complete confidence.
"If even Big Sister can't win, then I definitely wouldn't stand a chance either. But how could that be possible? How could there possibly be an enemy in this world that even I can't defeat? So relax!"
Hiyamaru flew to the entrance beneath the torii gate, standing with her hands on her hips and looking utterly serious.
"..."
Asou Yuna was speechless at that...
"Yes, if Lord Hiyamaru says so, then there definitely won't be a problem." Shimizu Meiyuki stared at Hiyamaru's tail and ears, her eyes filled with longing.
"I hope so..."
"Big Sister seems to be back!"
Before Asou Yuna could finish lamenting, Hiyamaru suddenly looked down the steps and exclaimed in delight.
"Really? Where?"
Asou Yuna immediately looked toward the foot of the shrine.
Soon... Asou Yuna saw a strange, unfamiliar girl carrying another girl up the shrine steps.
The girl on her back was Seele...
Except Seele seemed to be... drunk?
The girl carrying Seele back was very beautiful... Her utterly flawless features were paired with snow-white long hair. A pair of white cat ears sat atop her head, and several white cat tails swayed behind her as she walked.
She was clearly not human, but a yokai.
"Sister Seele!"
Seeing Seele and the cat yokai girl appear, Asou Yuna hurried over.
