"Where is this...?"
Unable to move her body, Kujou Oto slowly opened her eyes, and then... the scene before her made her scalp go numb.
She found herself in an incredibly terrifying place. It was pitch-black all around; she could not make out what was above her head, but below was an unknown crimson liquid that seemed to be constantly bubbling.
It was like a sea of blood, and she herself was bound by iron chains, suspended in the air above the liquid...
Her arms and legs were spread wide apart. Other than her head... she could not move any other part of her body at all.
"How did I end up here...?"
Kujou Oto was filled with fear. This place was like the legendary hell. Hadn't she been sleeping with Seele? Why had she appeared here?
"Right, Seele... where is Seele?"
There was no one here, only her, trapped in this place... unable to move.
Then... who knew how much time passed. No one spoke to her. All there was was that horrible sight, so oppressive that it made it hard to breathe.
Loneliness, fear, terror...
Maybe a year had passed, maybe ten. Kujou Oto felt as though she was about to go mad. Finally... everything disappeared, and she found herself in a vast expanse of snow-white ground.
Kujou Oto lay facedown on the ground, her body touching the snow. She could even feel its chill, but that cold feeling was far better than the lonely, oppressive atmosphere from before.
"How did that feeling... seem?"
A familiar voice sounded in front of Kujou Oto, and then a pair of bare, jade-like feet stepped into view, naked against the snow.
Kujou Oto looked up...
"Seele?"
The Seele standing before her was both familiar and unfamiliar. Why? Because although they had
